  • enhancing your life with biblical teaching within a healing community
  • empowering you to experience God's healing and direction in your life.

We offer an appointment-based, biblical counseling to adult members. When appropriate, a mentor or lay counselor will be assigned. To request an appointment, contact us at 907.243.1777.

Celebrate Recovery
Fridays, 6:30-8:30 PM, Room 119

"I am so grateful for the ministry of Celebrate Recovery. I have found a safe place where I can come and just get real with the struggles that I am having. I am learning each week how to live clean and sober, how to connect to the source of all healing, and am making awesome friendships in the process. It is great to have accountability with people who genuinely care for me and I am so proud to be able to say that I am drug and nicotine free." —CR Participant

Celebrate Recovery is designed to help those struggling with hurts, hang-ups, and habits by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through the recovery process. This ministry acknowledges that Jesus Christ is the one and only Higher Power. Participants can expect a time of worship and a teaching or testimony or special speaker before breaking into a gender-specific small group, and be assured that their confidentiality will be protected. To learn more about this program, contact us.

The finality of death is hard. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through this difficult experience no matter where you are in the process or how long it has been. Faith Christian Community offers two thirteen-week support groups each year. You are welcome to begin attending the group at any session. Each is "self-contained," so you do not have to attend in sequence. For information on the next GriefShare support meeting or if you want to talk to a pastor, please contact us. For help right now, check out "Healing from Grief" on GriefShare's website.
